10 Minutes Late is the New “On Time”
Don’t you get sick of your friends being extremely late? I mean, if my kid’s birthday party starts at 1 p.m. and my “friend” shows up at 2 p.m., what’s up with that? What kind of message does that send?
And I’m convinced that 10 minutes late is the new “on time.” How flakey is that?
Before I met my husband, I was always either on time or early. Now I’m a little bit more of a slacker and can easily use my kids as an excuse. How flakey is that?
I’m not proud of it, but at least I have an excellent excuse. And I apologize for being late.
